State Board of Education Meets Next Week, June 2-3
The State Board of Education will meet Wednesday and Thursday, June 2 and 3, in the 7th floor Board Room, Education Building, 301 N. Wilmington Street, Raleigh.
The agendas for this meeting and executive summaries are available online. On the agenda is item K-12 Social Studies Glossary, Crosswalk, & Strand Maps and K – 5 Unpacking Documents Approval. Also on the agenda is a Request to Begin K-12 Science Content Standards Revisions and a Request to Begin K-12 Healthy Living Content Standards Revisions.
Please note that Board members will discuss all agenda items (unless otherwise noted) in their committee meetings on Wednesday, June 2. Board members will summarize their committee discussions and take action on agenda items as appropriate during their full board meeting on Thursday, June 3.
