The North Carolina Department of Transportation released a road closure update Tuesday. Following are the roads that are closed.
CLOSED:
(SR1003) Twisted Hickory — Twisted (SR1003) is closed South of NC 242 at Mile point 9.2
US Highway 701N — North bound traffic has been rerouted to the new bridge. South Bound remains on the old bridge. The closure has a wide load traffic restriction.
Elwell Ferry — Closed due to high water through Thursday, May 11.
