Blue skies and sunshine can be seen across Bladen County. The eastern part of the county faired well during Hurricane Matthew with the biggest issue was the loss of power according to Mayor Perry Blanks.
Blanks said the town’s power was restored on Monday. The power outage was the biggest concern for the town. There was no significant damages done in the town according to Blanks.
The water at Lock 1 was up a fair amount, but officials are keeping an eye on it according to Blanks
