Sandy Frank Inman, 69, of Elizabethtown, North Carolina went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 26, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the loving husband of Janet Inman, with whom he shared 50 beautiful years of marriage, and a proud father to Cody Inman.
Born in Valdosta, Georgia on August 16, 1954, to military parents and raised in Elizabethtown, Sandy was the son of the late Mr. George F. Inman and Mrs. Mildred Faith “Faye” Gooden Inman.
Sandy was a successful businessman and divinely called and committed to ministry. His enduring commitment to living for the Lord led Janet and Sandy to founding Inman Ministries which he gave his life’s work to support. Sandy’s compassion, wisdom, love, friendship, witty jokes, and spiritual guidance touched the lives of many in the community. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
In addition to his wife and son, Sandy is lovingly remembered by his siblings Georgia Inman Stoker and husband Junior and family, and John Inman and wife Marilyn and family. Sandy very much loved and enjoyed his inlaw Sholar family. They are as follows: The late Mr. CC Sholar Sr., and wife Flora, the late CC “Hubert” Sholar Jr., and wife Joanne and family, Gene Sholar and wife Joyce and family, Donald Sholar and wife Dianne, Linda Sholar Richards and husband Larry, Larry Sholar and his wife the late Pam Sholar and family, and Deloris Sholar Keuvelaar and family.
Celebration of Life will be held at Wesley’s Chapel Community Church in Elizabethtown, North Carolina on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Graveside service and interment will follow at the Inman family cemetery in Elizabethtown.
