Spread the love

The Mercy House Pregnancy Resource Center, located in Elizabethtown, had its open house today, and our team at Bladen Online went out to speak with Director Megan Knight. Knight informed us that their main goal is to educate women and provide a bundle of resources, such as free pregnancy testing, options counseling, and courses that range from parenting to Bible studies.

Utilizing their spacious environment, The Mercy House Pregnancy Resource Center has a receptionist office, an intake room, and two educational classrooms. The Mercy House hopes to soon transform one of the educational classrooms into an ultrasound room to offer limited ultrasounds to mothers.

The center also has an eye-catching baby boutique that contains clothes, shoes, toys, diapers, and wipes for your little ones, but The Mercy House does not stop there—having another storage house full of pack ’n plays, bassinets, and car seats. They go beyond to serve.

To obtain some of the amazing things The Mercy House has to offer in the baby boutique, you can take a class to receive points. The Mercy House operates on a reward system. So, the more you learn, the more you earn. Courses are given through a program called BrightCourse. Knight adds that they “describe it as the Netflix for pregnancy centers.”

If you, or anyone you know, are in need or interested in The Mercy House Pregnancy Resource Center, you can contact them at 910-247-6303 or visit them at 501 Doctors Drive Elizabethtown, NC.
