Thoughts While Shaving

Super Bowl 2019 winner…..New England Patriots….surprise, surprise, surprise.  Not really, Pats win 13-3 over the LA Rams.  A defensive struggle for both teams.

I was thinking of previous Super Bowls as the game progressed.  One of my most memorable games was the ’68 New York Jets win over the Colts, led by Broadway Joe Namath.  He promised a win, and delivered.

Todd Gurley, the North Carolina 2011 AP Football Player of the Year did not play up to his expectations, maybe due to a lingering knee problem.  The East Bladen Eagles played Tarboro a couple of years, in the 2A playoffs, a long time ago, before he decided to ‘cast his lot’ with the Georgia Bulldogs.  He signed a 4-year, $60M extension over the past year or so with the LA Rams.
