I am not a huge fan of change or surprises. Could do without the new Google updates, but, I know the rules….It’s their toy and I will adjust.
The final concert of the year sponsored by numerous local merchants and promoted by Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for Thursday, August 23rd (tomorrow), at the Cape Fear Farmers Market in Elizabethtown and will feature North Tower. It’s FREE. Bring your chair, leave the coolers at home. Come early and enjoy dinner at one of Elizabethtown’s fine restaurants. This year’s concert series has been a huge success, and no doubt the show tomorrow evening will close the season on a ‘positive note’.

Before all the big national news late Tuesday afternoon, there was an announcement that the Senate Intelligence co-chairs were going to make some type of presentation, but that apparently was ‘pushed back’. NC Senator Richard Burr (R) and Sen. Mark Warner (D) of Virginia have made few public ‘waves’ as their committee has hopefully moved forward with their investigation of ‘Russian interference’ in recent national elections. Maybe we hear from them today.
