The traditional White Lake Water Festival will officially kick off the summer season. The dates of the 2022 water festival, as well as a schedule of vendors and events, have been planned for May 20–21. A variety of exciting activities have been scheduled to make this year even better than in past years. Concerts, parades, automobile and track exhibitions, arts and crafts, and other family-friendly activities will be among the popular events.
The Rotary Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, May 20 at 8 a.m. at the Vineyard Golf Course, and the Mini Putt-Putt Tournament will be played at Goldston’s Beach. Enjoy a classic vehicle cruise-in at 6:00 p.m. after participating in tournament events. Autumn Tyde will perform at Goldston’s Beach from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to round off the night.
The car and truck show at Lake Church will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, and run until noon. The White Lake Water Festivals annual parade will begin at 10 a.m. Forms to register for the parade can be found at www.whitelakewaterfestival.com. Goldston’s Beach Opens Wrestlers, arts, crafts, food vendors, business booth displays, and Joy the Clown will be part of the events starting at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rivermist and The Pink Slips will perform at Goldston’s Beach from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., bringing the day’s events to a close.
With the support of local businesses, the Elizabethtown-White Lake Chamber of Commerce has worked tirelessly to continue the festival’s tradition.
