The Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has many things planned for this fall. Terri Dennison, Executive Director of the Chamber, sent out an email with important dates to remember.

Friday, Oct. 14 at noon – Ribbon Cutting at Mermaid Castle as Mermaid N Sam. Chamber sponsor. Please show support for this new shop.

Friday, Oct. 14 at 2:30 pm – East Bladen’s Homecoming Parade. The parade will proceed from Town Hall down West Broad Street, turning south onto Poplar Street to Swanzy Street. Please shop your support for East Bladen High School.

Monday, Oct. 17 at noon – Ribbon Cutting at WARM’s office (Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry) in the Small Business Incubator, 207 E. Broad Street.

Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 8 am – Chamber Member Breakfast Meeting: Deductions – What Makes Senses for your Business at the Farmers Market. ALL businesses are invited. Saturday, Oct. 22 from 9 am – 1 pm – Coffee, Cars & Croissants at the Farmers Market.

Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 8 am – Downtown Committee Meeting at the Farmers Market. Meeting is open to all Downtown businesses.

Saturday, Oct. 29 all day – Shop & Treat. Downtown merchants will give out candy and treats to children dressed for Halloween. The Chamber will promote the event. Please let the Chamber know if you plan on participating. All participating businesses will receive a sign to promote the event.

Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 & 5 – Pork and Beats Festival at the Farmers Market. A poster is attached (prints on 8-1/2” x 14” paper).
