The following is an updated listing of road closures for Bladen County as it appears in the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Travel Information System on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. They are as follows:
*NC-210 Near Kelly is closed.
*NC-53 East of Kelly in both directions is flooded in various locations.
*NC 53 West near White Oak is closed due to the bridge being out
*Owen Hill Road is closed due to a wash out.
*Dr. Cogdell Road north of Tar Heel is closed
*Johnsontown Road is closed due to a bridge approach failure. Detour route is NC 242 to Sweet Home Church Road to Bladen Lakes School Road.
*Helltown Road is closed
*White Oak Road near Kelly is closed due to flooding
*Natmore Road in Kelly is closed due to flooding
*US 701 is closed at the Sampson County line due to a bridge issue. The detour route is NC 210 to Greensbridge Road to NC 411.
*US-701 in Elizabethtown the southbound bridge is closed for debris removal. The northbound lane remains open to two-way traffic
