The 10th Annual Roger’s Wish on Friday November 3 was another successful year for the beloved mission that helps our areas needy to stay a little warmer during harsh winter months ahead.
Roger’s Wish has collected and distributed nearly 1,300 donated items of winter blankets and winter wear apparel since it’s inception back in 2013.
The beloved mission is named after its founder Roger Theodore Grunder of Elizabethtown. He lost his life in a car accident on August 30, 2013 just three weeks into the mission. His family and friends have carried his mission in his memory ever since.
Roger’s family and I would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of the generous donors to this year’s event. You’re kindness has made Roger’s Wish of helping others in need yet another reality come true.
