A vehicle that was reported stolen from Butler Mill Road was located in Bladenboro on Wednesday morning.  The Bladenboro Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding a stolen vehicle to contact the police department.

A stolen vehicle was located off Village Street in Bladenboro where it was driven into the wood line, according to Bladenboro Police Chief Chris Hunt. He said the call regarding the vehicle came in to 911 Communications at 6 a.m.

Chief Hunt said officers found the vehicle’s registration and attempted to contact the owner but were unsuccessful. He said at 9 a.m. the vehicle’s owner awoke to find their vehicle missing and called 911 Communication to make a report.

Chief Hunt said the vehicle, a white Nisan Versa, was reported stolen from Butler Mill Road.

Chief Hunt said the case has been turned over to the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office and remains under investigation.
