The State Board of Elections has begun the process of migrating the existing State Board of Elections website to the Digital Commons platform, with the help of the state Department of Information Technology.
This is an extensive process that will result in a new website (same URL, www.NCSBE.gov) by early to mid-September, in time for the General Election rush of voter information needs.
The end product should be a more user-friendly, more mobile-friendly, more visually appealing, more accessible and, very importantly, more secure website for our voters, candidates and other users.
Patrick Gannon with the North Carolina State Board of Elections stated, “That said, we are asking for your input on how to improve our website. Please take a couple minutes to fill out the short survey at the following link by 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 13. Please feel free to share this within your organization with anyone who may use our website.”
