The Carolina Bengals are coming back for another season. After taking the fall 2023 season off, The Semi-Pro football team out of Wilmington and East Arcadia announced through the team’s Facebook page on Thursday, October 19, 2023. The team would be making their return to the gridiron for the 2024 spring season. The Bengals will be back playing in the Coastal Football Alliance, hosting their home games at Legion Stadium. Even though this is the Bengals’ 5th year playing, they are constantly looking for new, talented, and dedicated individuals to help win. Owners Katrina and Jermain Brown have prided themselves on the organization being able to give opportunities to all players. This includes young players who want to be able to play at the next level but didn’t have enough film in high school to be recruited, along with people who just love the game of football and want to continue to play and be around the game along with educational and employment opportunities. This will be the team’s fifth season playing in the Coastal Football Alliance. If you are interested or know anybody who wants to play for the Bengals, the team will have open tryouts for all positions on November 11, 2013, at 1665 East Arcadia Rd, Riglewood, NC 28456.
