The Richard F. Burkhardt Fine & Performing Arts Series (FPAS), in collaboration with the SCC Foundation, announces the second performance of the 2017-2018 season featuring The Malpass Brothers on November 10 at 7 p.m. in the SCC Auditorium.
This is music steeped in the legacy of the Louvin Brothers, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Hank Williams, Sr. and more. With a sincere stage presence that tributes to the great musical legends that paved the way, you can count on classic, real country with a few old-time gospels. Add the funny, off-the-cuff quips between the two siblings, and this concert becomes a magnetic time-traveling journey to when a calmer rhythm reigned supreme.
They have opened for music legend Merle Haggard on multiple tours, toured with the late Don Helms, former guitarist for Hank Williams, and appeared on stages from the Shetland Islands to Ryman Auditorium to Merlefest.
Gold Circle seating is $25.00 per ticket and General Admission is $15.00 per ticket. You can purchase tickets online at www.sccnc.edu. For questions about wheelchair accessible seating, please call the foundation at 910-642-7141 ext. 308. Tickets go fast so make sure to get yours today!
