At 9 am, the National Weather Service in Wilmington issued the weekly weather briefing, forecasting a dry cold front with high pressure early in the week and low pressure later in the week, which could possibly gift the Carolinas with snow for the second Friday in a row.

At this time, no advisories, watches, or warnings are likely Monday through Friday of this week. Cold temperatures are set to continue.

Today’s high will be in the low to mid-50s. Tuesday’s high will be in the 50s, as well, before high temperatures slip down to the mid-40s for the remainder of the week. Low temperatures will range from the upper-20s to the upper-30s, with the coldest low Friday morning.

We will see mostly sunny skies this week, according to the briefing. However, tomorrow will be mostly cloudy, unlike the majority of the week. Late Friday, there is a chance of rain or snow.
