A reminder of at least three functions on this Friday….

Retirement Party for Leon Martin at First Citizens today….the last day of work for Byron Graham as E-town Fire Chief…He is retiring and the parties have been ongoing…..and a ribbon cutting at the new Bladenboro Community Center beginning at 2 p.m.

Can’t imagine someone breaking into or doing harm to a church facility…guess those type folks have no conscience and no limits….Vandals paid a visit to the New Light Church Family Life Center earlier this week….If you have any info related to the break-in contact Bladenboro Police Chief Hunt at 910-874-2422 or call Bladen County Communications at 910-862-8141…and pray they are caught, convicted and change their ways…Those type usually get religion about the time of their trial….

It is a shame our roadways are so cluttered….Wish some citations were passed out…guess the majority of the ‘damage’ is done while no one is looking….It is an “unsightly” mess.

Good to see a representative of Congressman David Rouzer will be in Bladen County the first Tuesday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Bladen County Ag Center, Elizabethtown.
