Thoughts While Shaving

A few weeks ago we wanted cooler weather….June, July and August…temps in the 90s….Our prayers have been answered…Temps in the low 40s this morning…highs in the upper 50s with a northerly wind at 6 to 11 mph….Tonight…clear skies and lows in the mid 30’s…and the possibility of scattered frost….

Bring out the long-johns……

It will be nice and warm at your worship place today….Nice place to hang-out and give thanks that your earlier prayers have been answered…

So sad about the vehicle accident on I-95 on Friday…4 members of a South Carolina family killed. They were headed to a family gathering. The accident occurred near the NC 87 intersection…

Love to travel around Bladen County and observe what is going on….Spent some time doing that yesterday….I love Bladen County…It’s not a perfect place….in fact, far from it….There is nothing wrong with Bladen that responsible, dedicated leadership and a few bucks will not correct….Filing for political offices begins in December this year….We need the best of the best to fill leadership positions…I challenge those who want to make Bladen better to step up….Just remember, you most likely do not have all the answers…no one does…but good people working together can make a difference…Who do you want running your government, your business? Maybe you need to file or suggest an acquaintance do just that.
