Political primaries around the nation will be held Tuesday, June 7.  They include California, Montana, New Jersey, North Dakota, New Mexico and South Dakota.  Some are for both parties (Dem & Rep), others one party or the other.  Today voting is being held in the Virgin Islands and tomorrow in Puerto Rico.  The last primary of the current campaign will be held in the District of Columbia on June 14.

My mom was born 100 years ago today.  Myrtle Cain Hester died several years ago.  June 4th is a special day for our family. She was a good lady.

Mohammed Ail (Cassius Clay), a boxing legend, died overnight.  He has suffered from Parkinson’s disease for many years.  He was 74.
