There is much that can be done inside, like preparation for tax season. Time to pay local taxes, due first few days of 2018, and prepare for filing federal taxes, due April 15th.  Will be here before you know it.

If you are interested in more information like, what, when, where or how, contact the local Board of Elections, located at 301 Cypress Street, behind the Elizabethtown Post Office.

Always wanted to get involved?  Time to get serious about making a decision, and file for the office of your choice during the month of February.

How would you describe your 2017?  Good?  Not so good? Not good at all?

Hopefully 2018 will be better!

I put all my money into taxes.  They’re the only thing that’s sure to go up.

The Government says we should be proud to be paying taxes.  I think I could be just as proud for about a third of the money.

For me, trying to do my own taxes is like a do-it-yourself mugging.
