Thoughts While ShavingWhiteville native MacKenzie Gore threw 6 strong innings last night for the Washington Nationals against the Baltimore Orioles … Gore recorded 103 pitches, struck out 7 batters, allowed 3 runs on just 3 hits, gave up 4 walks and gave up a dinger, a home run … Nationals were shut out, final score 4-0. Despite the loss, both managers spoke highly of Gore’s quality outing. The Nationals are 5-13 on the season, the Orioles 11-7 after last night’s win. Kyle Bradish was the winning pitcher … He gave up 5 hits, no runs and recorded 6 KO’s. Adam Frazier hit his 1st home run of the season for the Orioles off Gore.
