We can’t seem to live without technology, and I am having a difficult time living with it….
Several years ago, we (my bride and I) decided to invest in an inexpensive, but peaceful White Lake location that we have used over the years as a place to escape from time to time. Has worked well, not used that much, more as a place to change the view for a short period of time.
Recently, technological problems have made it more of a headache. Has to do with TV and Internet, Time Warner TV and Internet. This summer I have spoken with folks all over the US, some nice, some less so, have been told my problem was my TV, my remote control, my service has been temporarily disrupted, etc., however, when it is working, none of that applies. I have met a couple of nice service folks, one from New Hanover County, another from the Cumberland County area.
My TV has averaged working about one week out of the month. I am a sports fan, so for our hideout, I have extra channels that allow more events.
Now I am waking earlier than usual to think about how or what I can do to deal with the service that provides nothing more than a message that says ‘no service available’, or something related.
No idea who Mr. Trump has ‘slammed’ or Mrs. Clinton ‘lied to or about’, no sports that I enjoy, nothing to put me to sleep, just a dancing message about ‘no service’.
I know, if that is my biggest problem, shame on me. Understand, but is there no answer or solution to such a simple problem? Apparently not. Suggestions?????
Just needed to vent, I am among men mostly richly blessed.
