I was a little surprised when I checked the National Weather Service website yesterday to see that winds speeds were not higher … the highest recorded at the local airport was 51 mph … Saw where one neighbor recorded 2 inches of rain, I had 3 inches and 4 inches at the airport … Scattered showers!!!!

Hurricane Isaias came and went quickly … Actually, I was surprised at the number of folks without electricity … We were fortunate in our neighborhood…

The number of deaths due to COVID-19 continues to rise … hopefully the growth has slowed…

I wear a mask most of the time when in a crowd, but do not care to … My glasses fog up … Best excuse I have … but, if it keeps me from having the virus, I plan to continue…

“Often when you think you’re at the end of something, you’re at the beginning of something else.”

“This too shall pass.”
