Remember a few years ago, many would do most or all their Christmas shopping in the area … Thinking of a few outlets no longer around … Registers 5 & 10, Fowler Simmons, Clark Jessup, Western Auto and there are others. Shopping for a new car was done locally … as many as 7 or 8 new auto dealers in the area. Still, many good shopping sites and some folks do a great deal of their shopping online … Not saying things were better then, but different.
