Ever wonder where squirrels, rabbits, birds go when the weather changes? Not sure where that came from … Just thinking about changes in the weather … freezing a few days ago, then warm, wet, windy … we all need a safe harbor … a place where we feel safe and secure … What about wildlife? Fortunately, most of us have our safe harbor … That’s what I was thinking as I finalize our Christmas tree efforts for another year…
Remember the first Christmas program at school or church? For some of us … many years ago.
How’s the shopping process going? ‘Bout completed? For many, just place the order, have it delivered to the door … approve or disapprove, pay and move on … Not so easy for some of us senior citizens … Need to see, feel, maybe try on … contemplate … question … Understand?
For others … aging, those strugglin’, wondering what’s next? Too much to process … some gotta make some tough decisions…
Today is church day … It’s a busy time … Youngsters rehearsing their part on the program, choirs busy preparing music, teachers preparing lessons … Ministers with a sermon ready to deliver … All about our role in the process … Some disregard it all…

As of just after midnight, nearly a quarter of an inch of rain at the local weather station. High temp over past 24 yours … 71 degrees.
Looking ahead … A chance of showers today, mainly between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Patchy fog early. Otherwise, cloudy with a high near 76 and windy, gusts as high as 20 mph … 30% chance of precipitation.
Tonight, mostly cloudy with a low around 51. Monday, mostly sunny with a high near 68 and windy … Looking ahead, colder weather on the way … low Wednesday night … 32 degrees … daytime highs, low to mid 50s. December type weather…
