Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

Snow, snow all around and hanging on … Love to see it come and love to see it go … and it’s time to go…

18 degrees at 5:15 a.m. today…

Weather forecast: Patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, sunny with a high near 45. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 22. Monday, sunny with a high near 50. 50 degrees may be the high temp of the week … mostly in the mid to upper 40s.

NFL action yesterday and last night…
Bengals 19 – Titans 16
49ers 13 – Packers 10

Today’s schedule:
3 p.m., Rams vs Bucs
6:30 p.m., Chiefs vs Bills

Many church services online today … Facebook, etc.

Pray for the sick and needy.

Will be nice when we can get back to a normal routine … sometime in the future…

Woke up about 12:20 a.m., thought it was about 4 a.m. I was busy all night long … (in my dreams)

Love pics of youngsters playing in the snow … Our parents attempted to keep us busy when it snowed … a little time outside, lots of games on homemade boards using corn to cover … Bingo, Monopoly (if we had a board), checkers, jack rock, etc … Anyone else remember that long ago … If my memory is not slipping to bad, mom and dad were referees … What they said was the way it was to be … firm, final … and being the oldest, my job was to make sure we had wood to burn in the heater … All in all, good days…

“Oh wind, if winter comes, can spring be far behind?” Percy Bysshe Shelly

“People don’t notice whether it’s winter or summer when they’re happy.” Anton Chekov
