BladenOnline.com begins year number 8 on February 1st, 2016. I enjoyed every day, but it was a real challenge, early on, with some on the sidelines taking bets on how long it would continue. Charlotte and Erin, and the ‘part-timers’ have taken it to a new level. The subscription rate has not changed…FREE. And, The Best Is Yet To Come.
When I look back to days of cropping tobacco, working at Hinson’s Supermarket in Bladenboro, Top Mode Manufacturing in Elizabethtown, WBLA Radio Station, NC Association of County Commissioners and BladenOnline, I am one blessed human being. I have had great experiences, some painful, but growing opportunities and met some of North Carolinas’ finest. Add to that list, Little League baseball, Jaycees, Chamber of Commerce, County Commissioner…not boastful but blessed. And there have been and are more opportunities.
Just read that 4,153,237 people got married last year, not to cause any trouble but shouldn’t that be an even number?
I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather…Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car.
