High School football practice (conditioning) begins July 31 … less than 2 weeks away … 1st scrimmage set for August 9 … Regular season ends October 27 … 1st round of playoffs, November 3. I agree, too hot to think about football at any level.

MacKenzie Gore, Washington Nationals lefty, went 6 1/3 innings on the mound in his last outing to pick up the win … improving his record to 5-7. It was his 2nd win since April.
