Bladen We Care’s annual Golf fundraiser is set for Wednesday, June 21, the first day of summer … Full field, everything appears to be set for one of the most successful ever. Proceeds benefit so many local residents falling thru the cracks in our healthcare system … Also, provides finances to support nursing scholarships at Bladen Community College and UNC-Pembroke … and much more…

All together, for so many a very, very busy time … Oh yes, local government budgets are expected to be approved by July 1. And, shortly after the budgets are adopted, tax bills will be received. Remember when life was not so complicated?…

Greatest country in the world to live … and I am perfectly happy to call Bladen County home…

Golfers appeared to be out in great numbers at the local golf course yesterday…
