A strong pitching performance by Zack Mears and timely hitting, all around good play helped the EB Eagles baseball team score a 5-0 win over a strong North Lenoir team. The Eagles advance to the regional finals next week.
The Eagles track team boys team finished 4th in the NCHSAA 2A regionals Saturday and the EB girls finished tied for 9th place.
Both very strong performances. And a reminder, the annual reverse raffle fundraiser for the Eagles is scheduled for Thursday evening … Tickets available at the school or at Leinwands, most likely other local businesses … Proceeds support East Bladen activities…
