Robo calls slowed for a few days. FTC is investigating and have charged a few businesses and individuals, but don’t think it will last long.

New Bojangles in Elizabethtown seeking employees … info on sign at Poplar Street location. When will they open? No idea.

Remember Nell’s BBQ? Was located on site currently occupied by Hardees. Had a few tables in the rear for patrons who could not get all the ‘grease and grim’ off at lunch time. Popular eating place. Good food, reasonable prices.

Remember when the Post Office was located on the site currently occupied by Crescom bank? Clark Motor Company (Ford & Mercury dealer) was across the street. Registers 5 & 10 on another corner across from Bank of Elizabethtown.

Back to eating establishes. … Elizabethtown is fortunate to have so many really good places to get a good meal or a sandwich. … Melvin’s is the oldest, established in 1938, and still one of the most popular.

Hot weather is expected to continue for the next week. Best chance for rain is Thursday and Friday … 20% chance each day. Temps expected to remain in the low to mid 90s.
