thoughts while shavingA reminder of the dedication of the brand new Bladenboro Town Square this morning … Opening ceremonies begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the ribbon cutting at 12 noon … The Town Square is a beautiful brick facility with retail space for numerous new additions to the downtown area … All are invited … If you can’t attend, Bladenboro native, now WKML DJ, Don Chase will be broadcasting live from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. … Everyone is invited…

Hopefully, the weather will be good … The forecast is for some rain, mainly after 4 p.m., with a high temp near 58, windy, gusts as high as 17 mph … Chance of precipitation is 60%. Tonight, showers, with thunderstorms, possible after 2 a.m., in fact 100% chance of rain. Saturday, a 50% chance of precipitation, windy, low near 52.

Today is March 1 … Spring arrives March 19 … Before long new crops in the field, veggies in the garden … A wonderful time of the year…
