Republican presidential political campaigns have reached new lows with the topic turning to spouses. My, my, my. Thought one Dem had a ‘lock’ on that topic. Maybe not.
I have been amazed that the article in BladenOnline several months ago just will not ‘go away.’ It was related to a group traveling in the area ‘supposedly’ selling Kirby vacuum cleaners. I have had several calls from outside our area asking questions. Several weeks ago had one from Conway, SC where similar activities were ongoing, according to the female caller who had seen our article.
I enjoy reading news websites across the state. Lo and behold, yesterday I was checking news sites when I discovered that WITN, Washington, NC TV station had an article about a 27 year old male charged with fraud after complaints from area residents related to a group of door to door salesmen contacting, primarily older residents, attempting to sell Kirby vacuum cleaners. Not putting anyone down, but story continues, just a different location.

It’s beginning to look and feel like springtime, pollen levels are high. Discovered a pollen forecast that indicates Friday and Saturday levels could be very high. Plan accordingly.
