Read a lengthy article by Greg Fishel, former WRAL meteorologist, related to the weather over the next few days, for the Triangle area … Miss him on channel 5. He retired in 2019 after about 38 years … due to personal reasons, never disclosed details…

Been attempting to keep up with MacKenzie Gore, the former Whiteville Wolfpacker who signed a multi-million package with the San Diego Padres a few years ago … mmmm ’bout 3 years ago … The talented lefty is not on the major league roster as some had thought … Will begin the season in the minors, but will likely be visiting San Diego soon … Officials are high on Gore, indicating he just needs a little better command of his pitches…

Hopefully vaccine is available to those who have not had a shot … Many have already received, others plan to, but some prefer not … To each his own … For me and my house, we have received … Seen too many good people die … I am a huge fan of living as long as possible…

Some of my favorite Yogi Berra quotes…

“A nickel ain’t worth a dime anymore.”

“You can observe a lot by watching”

“When you come to the fork in the road, take it.”

“I never said most of the things I said. Then again, I might have said ’em, but you never know…”
