A chance of rain Friday, before 8 a.m., then showers, mainly between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. High near 58. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Friday night, a 50% chance of showers before 8 p.m., with a low around 41. Windy, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Also a chance of rain Sunday, Sunday night and Monday … 80% chance both days…

You probably remember Gore, a young left-handed pitcher from Whiteville, NC, who was traded by the San Diego Padres to the D.C. team late last year. I received a heads-up by Michael (Mike) Thomas, an Elizabethtown High School grad a few years ago, no many years ago … The article headline … ‘Perspective; Mackenzie Gore is a perfectionist who’s not yet perfect’…
