Winner of the PGA CJ Byron Nelson event was Taylor Pendrith … his 1st PGA career title. His 4-under par round helped him win by a single shot over Ben Kohles, who bogeyed the last hole and finished 2nd … Pendrith’s win was worth $1,710,000. Kohles’ 2nd place finish earned him $1,035.500. The total purse was $9.5 million. The TPC Craig Ranch event was held in McKinney, Texas.
Kyle Larson passed Chris Buescher on the last lap of the AdventHealth 400 at the Kansas Speedway, posting the closest win in Cup Series history … 0.001 was the margin of victory. Buescher was initially announced as the winner, however, after an electronic timing and scoring review, Larson was declared the winner.
