Wednesday, a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny with a high near 92 … more wind, gusts as high as 16 mph and a 40% chance of rain.

Pretty much same type forecast thru Friday night … Sunday, (Mother’s Day) sunny with a high near 78…

Not much change around us … Farmers busy planting, high school sports in the afternoon…

Another strong showing on the Stock Market … good for all, especially retirees…

NC highway 41 is one of the main corridors thru Bladen … Wreck east of Lumberton Monday morning, 2 killed in a head-on crash, occurred shortly before 10 a.m. According to numerous news reports … both deceased reportedly in their 20s … GMC pickup truck was traveling west, a Kia passenger car was eastbound … Another passenger was hospitalized with life threatening injuries…
