Thursday (tomorrow) is Veterans Day … It’s a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, a time for honoring military veterans, who are people who have served in the United States Armed Forces … Typically, celebrated by a parade in some cities…

All Bladen County convenience sites will be operating on a normal schedule … 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, the Transfer Station will be closed Thursday … Normal operations resume Friday, November 12.

Bladen County football teams have been eliminated from playoffs, however other teams in the area are still involved … on Friday night…
