Fundraiser for Amy Grimes Melvin in Tar Heel today … Lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tar Heel Fire Station … Boston Butts on sale, as well as raffle tickets for a golf cart … Goal is to raise $20,000. Ms. Melvin is having a lung replacement.

White Elephant Sale at Wesley’s Chapel multi-purpose building today … hundreds, maybe thousands, of items for sale … very nice items … located on Peanut Plant Road 2 or 3 miles south of Elizabethtown … 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hot dogs and baked goods for sale.
