A reminder of Bladen County solid waste hours of operation during the Thanksgiving holiday … All convenience sites will be closed Thursday in observance of the holiday … Normal operations resume Friday. The Transfer Station will be closed both days (Thursday & Friday) … and will return to normal on Monday, November 27.
According to recently released data, from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), US product supply of lubricants is on pace to close out the year at a lower level than we have seen in over 40 years. Since a high of nearly 2.6 billion in 1999, lubricants product supplied in 2023 is forecast to reach only 1.4 billion, or a loss of 1.2 billion gallons from the high in 1999.
Gas prices have been dropping recently … seen signs below $3 a gallon for regular grade.
