His folks owned Western Auto in Elizabethtown years ago … He lived in Texas for several years … now back in the area … playing good golf…
A note I failed to mention, Patricia and Billy Augustine, co-owners of Vineyard Golf at White Lake, recently announced they were doubling scholarship money for deserving agriculture students in Bladen and Sampson counties … Funds for the scholarships provided by the two are proceeds from a recent golf tournament at Vineyard … Over 100 golfers participated this year … 2 scholarships, 1 for students from each county … Now 2 scholarships per county … Congratulations to all…
