Tough outing for the Washington Nationals and lefty MacKenzie Gore last night…Dodgers 8, Nationals 5.  Gore served up 4 HRs, one that ended up in the 3rd deck in right field… The line score for Gore… 4 innings, 4 earned runs, and 4 KOs.  The Nationals have lost 9 or their 11 outings.

Looking back, no measurable rainfall at the local airport. It was a different story in other areas of the county… thunderstorms… reported…

Today’s forecast… A chance of showers and thunderstorms for the area, with thunderstorms more likely after 2 p.m. and Patchy fog early, otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 84 and a 60% chance of rain.

Tonight, Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 7 p.m., then a better chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 7 p.m. and 2 a.m., 60% chance of precipitation.  Lows near 69.

Sunday (Church Day) A slight chance of rain and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m.  Partly sunny, with a high near 86 and a 60% chance of rain.

Weather folks indicate the storm in the Atlantic is not much of a threat to inland areas but could cause issues along the coast.

The Dublin Peanut Festival is scheduled for September 16.  Peanuts, rides, vendors, entertainment, and a parade.

Also, a Fall Open House a Traxx in Clarkton on Sunday, September 17, begins at 1 p.m.

Social Security recipients expect an increase, but they are not sure of the total beginning January 2024.  Stay tuned.
