Bladen County ranks among the highest counties in the state for Uninsured Persons. Uninsured population refers to the percentage of citizens within each county who are under the age of 65 and do not have health insurance. The North Carolina average is 13%. 18% of Bladen County residents do not have coverage. In Columbus County it is 16%, Robeson is 19%, Sampson 19%, Pender 13% and Cumberland is 11%.
