Here are Three Things to Know for Wednesday, February 26:
1: A Hurricane Preparedness and Recovery program is scheduled Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m.-noon at Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 4047 NC 242 South, Elizabethtown. Information about hurricane preparedness, hurricane recovery, overview of the storm after the storm, disaster response activities, scams and exploitation alerts, FEMA forms review and a summary of available local, state and federal resources. 2. A Steam Exploration program is scheduled Thursday at the Main Library Branch in Elizabethtown. The program, which start at 4 p.m., are most appropriate for ages 6 through 11.
3. The Bladen County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Lower Level Assembly Room on the first floor of the Bladen County Courthouse. The meeting is open to the public.
