1. Moores Creek National Battlefield will be closed today for a controlled burn. It is expected to reopen Monday.
2. The Elizabethtown Town Council will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in Town Hall at 805 West Broad Street. The meeting is open to the public.
3. The first of several rabies clinics is scheduled Saturday. $7 cash only for each dog and cat. Elizabethtown Veterinary Hospital clinics at Elizabethtown Veterinary Hospital 12:30-1 p.m.; Blanks Store, East Arcadia, 1:30-2 p.m.; Bob’s Superette, Carvers Creek, 2:20-2:50 p.m.; Alfred’s Grocery, Lisbon, 3:10-3:40 p.m.; and Clarkton Town Hall, 4-4:30 p.m.
