Here are Three Things to Know for Thursday, March 5:
1. Reptiles at the Library program is scheduled today at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Branch Library in Elizabethtown. Fresh Start Rescue Inc. members will teach about reptiles such as lizards, tortoises and snakes. Live animals will present.
2. The Cape Fear Teen Challenge fish fry fundraiser is scheduled Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 1107 West Broad Street, Suite D in Elizabethtown. The event is sponsored by Liberty Tax. All proceeds go to Cape Fear Teen Challenge, which is a local women’s recovery program.
3. The North Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League will conduct an event Saturday and Sunday at Browns Creek Bike Park & Nature Trail in Elizabethtown. Competition races start at 9 a.m. Sunday.
