Here are Three Things to Know for Saturday, October 24:

1. There’s a football game in Chapel Hill today. Have you heard? Nationally ranked rivals No. 23 N.C. State (4-1) plays No. 14 North Carolina (3-1) at noon on ESPN. It’s only the third time in 110 meetings that both teams are ranked among the nation’s Top 25. UNC won the previos two meetings (1979 and 1993). N.C. State has won nine of the last 12 games, including three straight at Kenan Stadium.

2. Early voting for the November general election continues this weekend. Saturday voting is from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday voting is from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sites are the Bladen County Recreation Department in Elizabethtown, Spaulding Monroe in Bladenboro, East Arcadia Town Hall, Booker T. Washington Primary School in Clarkton, Bay Tree Fire Department in Harrells and Tar Heel Municipal Building in Tar Heel. Polls are open every day, although hours vary. (READ MORE)

3. Family Prayer Event: 7 p.m., Tuesday, Bladen County Courthouse, Elizabethtown. Evangelist David Pait, Pastor Howard Allbright and Pastor Fletcher Collins are hosting the event which is open to everyone. It’s the final event in the monthlong series. (READ MORE)
