GAFFNEY, SC – West Bladen grad Trevor Lesane slammed 2 doubles, scored 4 runs and knocked in 3 as his Erskine Flying Feet won a weekend series from Limestone.
In Erskine’s 9-6 win Friday night, Lesane reached base on an error and later darted home on a wild pitch.
Lesane hammered a 2-run double to left-centerfield and later scored a run in the fifth inning of Erskine’s 10-3 victory in the first game of Saturday’s double-header.
The Tar Heel native ripped a single to left that plated a first inning run in Saturday’s nightcap. Lesane walloped a fifth inning double then reached on a dropped fly ball in the seventh inning that drove in a run. Lesane later scored in the seventh, but Limestone outlasted the Flying Feet 17-16.
Erskine, now 10-8, travels to Queens College in Charlotte for a 2 p.m. game Tuesday.
