Two fundraisers have been scheduled to take place this month to assist local substance abuse facilities in Bladen County. There is a Fish Fry Scheduled for Friday, March 6 to assist Cape Fear Teen Challenge and a dinner fundraiser on March 21 to assist Southeastern Carolina Crossroads.

First, the Fish Fry Fundraiser sponsored by Liberty Tax will be located at 1107 W. Broad Street, Suite D. in Elizabethtown on Friday, March 6. Delivery for the plates will be available. Find out more by calling 910-801-0015. All proceeds will go towards Cape Fear Teen Challenge, a local women’s recovery program.

Then, Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Women will be holding a fundraiser for Southeastern Carolina Crossroads at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 21st, in their Multipurpose Building.  The event is open to the public and all are invited to come dine at their Parade of Tables.  Tickets are $15 per person.  Call the church office at 645-4011 by March 9th for tickets.  Donations will also be accepted.

Also, Eastpointe is seeking input from the community for their annual gap assessment. Please take a moment to fill out the survey below for Bladen County to receive funding for Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Intellectually Delayed Development services needed in the area.
