Vineyard Golf is now open for play. The course, located between Elizabethtown and White Lake, was hit with 16.5 inches of rain and had 21 trees come down during hurricane Matthew. The staff at Vineyard Golf worked feverishly to get the course back in playable condition and Friday afternoon the course was close to full.
Owner Bill Augustine stated Friday “We are going to mow the fairways this afternoon. We are pumping the standing water off the course and our staff is cutting all the downed trees. We are open and ready for play.”
